Hi there,
I’m looking for abit of advice since i’m doing my first build on a yamaha aerox 2 stroke from 2003. I was thinking about getting Stage6 Sport Pro MKII Cylinder Kit for it but i’m not sure what parts would work best to have the best bike for acceleration. My budget is about £700-£800 and i would like to know what would be the best way to build a reliable bike. I would be very grateful if you would be able to let me know.
Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. The sport pro should be a good cylinder. It makes most power between 9,000 to 10,500rpm. So a Yasuni R, or stage 6 pro rep exhaust would match it well. I would replace the crank for something better. Especially in an older bike. I bent mine at low miles. A 17.5 to 19mm Dellorto would give a great setup. I have had both a stage 6 racing, and the street race. The sport pro should fit a sweet spot inbetween.

The power range depends on the pipe, with a stage6 pro replica it has the most power at 11000-12000 rpm

Not the replica. That's a lot higher tuned pipe.

Thank you very much! & would there be need for any specific gear up kits, variators or crankshafts?
