I am making a custom Ebike RV.Trailer for a customer. His old one pictured below burned up in a lipo battery fire. He typically goes 10-15mph. He was using custom made FAT bicycle tire wheels ($300 each) I want to use scooter wheels instead because they are cheaper and stronger. I want to buy two front wheels which will go on the middle of the trailer 12-20" diameter with as big of a bearing ID as possible. 20mm to 25.4mm (1") would be perfect. I also want to buy a suspension fork, and mount a rear wheel scooter tire with chain sprocket in it. I will then use a pedicab 750w motor to drive this front wheel. What is a good place to buy these parts online or near Charlotte, NC? We want to get this buildt in the next week so he can be on the road again by end of Feb 2021. Any help is greatly appreciated. the 3 wheel trailer will be laid out similar to this bicycle trailer the front solo wheel is where the forked moped wheel will go which is driven by the emotor.

Kymco People scooters and the Benelli M50 are a couple of potential sources for 16" scooter wheels. You may want to try mopeds for a 16-17" wheel source. Example : www.treatland.tv/17-white-bernardi-5-star-mag-wheel-set-p/bernardi-17-mag-wheel-set-whit.htmThe ~1" axle may be a little tough with scoot/moped stuff. Most are 10-12mm axles. You can change out the wheel bearings, but I'm not sure if you'll have many options for large axles with them. Motorcycle wheels would have larger axles and bearings stock, but most of their wheels tend to be wider and heavier.

Small trailer axle and wheel parts available from Northern Tool outlets would bring you into a heavier bearing and the right size wheels. The powered front wheel and fork would still probably be electric bike parts. You can get a whole 2000# trailer axle setup for $220. Then buy the wheels with tires in various sizes, either 4 or 5 lug to fit the axle you build. It may be cheap to just buy a trailer kit from Northern or Harbor Freight and add the front fork and powered wheel assy.
These are available in several power ratings.
These links worked originally but some Bizrate website is interfering with them and throwing them off.
