After lots of awesome rides with some awesome people last year, I gained an appreciation for some awesome scoots that aren't two strokes...I didn't think that was a thing either... Turns out, the Zuma 125 is an incredibly comfy cruiser and I wanna put some serious miles down this season. I picked up a 2011 125 with 737 miles on the odo about four hours away from me for $2,200 which seemed fair enough for both parties and I was impatient, so whatever. A week later, my buddy scored an '09 with 500 miles about a half hour away for $2,000. Par for the course. Better person than myself anyway, he deserves it. Here it is... And here's what I have on order: Shark Factory wheels www.rcscooters.com/product-page/shark-factory-cnc-rimsA 6" billett aluminum stretch JDM vertical headlights TST Dual Stage Vari www.rcscooters.com/product-page/tst-variatorRear pulley www.rcscooters.com/product-page/low-profile-aluminum-clutchI'll also be modifying the stock exhaust and adding some styling bits. Although most parts for this thing seem to cost damn near the price of a running scooter, I'm psyched to see where this goes. If anyone has any tips, tricks, etc, don't hesitate to interject. I'm very new to the Zuma 125/EFI/4T world. Scooters!

Cool, glad to hear you fit the Zuma 125 well and find it comfy. Unfortunately I had the opposite throught, and will be one of the first scoots to sell (to make room in garage).
Much exciting adventures in your Zuma! Take lots pics!

Looks really clean. It's going to look crazy with those wheels.

Looks really clean. It's going to look crazy with those wheels. Agreed. This may be my most highly anticipated scooter mail ever. Definitely the fanciest. They’re CNC machined to order and from all my research (looking at their FB page haha), they seem to do high quality work. Pumped.

Yeah, strangely from me (i'm average 5'9"...okay, maybe 5'8.5", okay!) perspective, the handlebar to seat position was really cramped and little awkward. And the floor board is relatively high and short/cramped... even me Zuma 50 prebug and Vino 50 has much better ergonomics than the 125, i would have to say. It almost feels like it was designed for little off-road adventure in their ergo design for some reason...

I have ridden lots of scooters. And never found them bad. But my Yamaha Job RR, five miles and I used to start to get back ache. Just weird. Tried sitting different, more uptight, always the same. Yet even the aerox which had no give in the suspension, and a rock hard seat. Was good for over 100 miles. Shame as it was a great bike.

I actually like to scoot almost all the way back on the seat and I rest me feet on the little foot spots for a passenger a lot of the time. Super comfy for my lanky ass haha. My Kymco People 163cc however, that thing has a seat that propels your ass forward if you're not constantly pushing yourself back into the seat. The previous owner mutilated the seat in an attempt tp alleviate the issue I think, but he definitely made it much worse. It's currently for sale for the convenient price of one US stimulus check +$100 hahaha.

It'd be a shame to get a backache from one. There's a company in the US, who ships worldwide, and makes absolutely awesome seat covers. scooterseatcovers.net/Just FYI for future reference and whatnot.

It's a great performing scooter. Handling is really good. Would get to 50 with a good exhaust, and a couple of other mods. Shame really.

Very nice. Some of those wheels are pretty slick. Can't wait to see exactly which ones you chose. I'll also be modifying the stock exhaust and adding some styling bits. I'm pretty sure this is code for hanging a turbo off of the side of it.
