On Bintelli sprint 50cc with 10" tires, the rear tire has slight side to side play when I grab left and right sides. I opened up the gear box (final transmission unit), the wheel shaft has that side to side play.
When I push the shaft all the way in, there is little or no play. The shaft goes into the bearing without any effort, and it comes out maybe 1mm. When it comes out like that, there's side to side play, like when the wheel was on.
I don't know much about bearings and how to tell if they're bad. All these bearing LOOK good and spin well, no visible blemishes. Should the wheel shaft fit very snug into the bearing?
There's a little of that side to side play on the shaft that has the cvt clutch too.
Any advice would be useful!

My friend who's a car mechanic said the bearings are fine, there's always a little play. He also said a little play along the axis of the drive shaft is normal for cars.
I changed my variator and clutch, and the vibrations went away! The clutch had enough pad, but I think the large spring was too weak. On the new clutch, it was much harder to push out the two plates to put the belt in. I'll keep the old parts anyway.
