105cc carb and variator tuning is almost finished. Mikuni 24mm carb has a 1.25mm main jet with 162 celsius at wot runs (2km). 1.35 was too big, maybe 128/130 would be safe bet for the weather we have here. Maxing out my gears. 90kmh gps. No markings left.

Vespa is in hibernation. Misfits are saying goodbyes for the riding season of 2021. ...and sadly El Toro might be changing masters.

For a smaller rear shock? Exhaust is going rusty. Welcome to my world. 😞

Yes, for a smaller rear shock. I already made adapter for smaller shock, but everything is pretty tight for space. I don't want to stretch the scoot, so only option seems to be to change 13" wheel to 12" with lower profile. I don't really want to do that. I'm in a too upright riding position, not by much, but in longer rides it stresses my lower back. We have heavily salted roads here. And the way the pipe is oriented, it gets sandblasted every ride.

If you have a 140/70-13, going to a 140/60-1 3 would lower the seat by about 7mm, or 9/32" Not a lot. But it might help. I used to find with my Jog RR. After about five miles lower back pain set in. It's weird I have ridden loads of scooters big distance with no problems. That's the only bike that did it. I think it was the seat position in relation to the handle bars.

I try to make this mudguard onesided, so it could be universal to other af49e engines.
