Passport! Looks like it’s in good shape. Great bikes. You can drop a Lifan or Piranha in there if you want a bit more power, or want to save to original motor.
DrATV is the go to place for parts, and TBolt USA for upgrades (at least I trust them over some eBay store). 12v upgrade is doable without too much drama.
There’s a really good Lifan thread on ADVRider in the Battlescooter section, and some great write-ups on swaps.
I still have dreams of making a Street Cub out of an ‘82 frame I got my hands on.

Cool find. So many of those C90/70/50's over here have been chopped up to make custom bikes. They are really strong engines if left stock. Fun to ride too. Though I haven't ridden one since the 80's.

I had a 1980 C70 Passport. Same color. Great Bike.
Technically considered an "underbone style motorcycle" FWIW... but for me, it counts.

I thought about a motor swap, but i got my Zuma to go fast. May do a mild 88 kit at some point, but im happy with it. What bugs me is the gearing. First is done within 3 seconds, second isnt much better. Basically, im always in third

Anything over 50cc is classed as a motorcycle by the DVLA. But step through style bikes are universally acknowledged as scooters.

Theres the little gear things on the dash to tell you like, first goes to 10 mph, secomd goes to 25 or whatever. By the time it says i should be ending 2nd, im in 3rd with the motor screaming

Honda Cubs and the Passport C70 variant are actually true motorcycles. Small scooter-y motorcycles, but motorcycles nonetheless. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UnderboneMatt

Strange isn't it. When I know someone who had an RS50, still classed as a moped. The DVLA is a law onto its self.
