Teikei is the Carb its a Mikuni Knock off Hard to get parts for (I have spring parts on back order for one for 12 months now) 2008-2011 carb is No fine tuning with the needle or air screw Unless you Mod the carb with a washer to raise the needle and drill out the plastic cap that is over the air screw Works ok till you start pushing any rpms with a better cylinder pipe combo
You could swap carbs Your Carb from your 2005 zuma is adjustable Just remember to replace the spring on the needle that you sent me .

Check your Float height!!
It took me long time to realize my 2009 zuma float height was way off..

I haven’t messed with this thing in a week or so and am unlikely to super soon because I just moved. I’ll probably get back after it sometime soon though.
Float height was pretty good. I basically did a mini rebuild in his carb and swapped a ton of parts from another carb.
Next time I get to it, I’ll check everything everyone has mentioned. It has to be one of those things. There isn’t much else to these guys.
