I recently bought a cheap scooter because i wanted something to tinker around with + i need a tool of transportation during summer. i have owned several 2 stroke dirt bikes, street bikes and scooters thru the years and i like to work on them almost as much as i like to ride em so when this one showed on the local marketplace i jumped at it. I am on the lookout for 12inch rims right now, the balloon tires makes a comfy ride but the handling suffers alot. If the road is uneven im bouncing around like a kid on a yoga ball lol. not safe when going 60mph, almost forgot. it pulls really good after the bits i installed, im actually a bit baffled with the high top speed. 3800km on the tech so engine is in good condition i ordered a stage6 streetrace 47mm cylinder, 17.5mm dellorto, malossi front pulley with yellow spring, and polini secondary gear up kit. Along with clutch springs rollers and jets for the carb. this is not much of a project but im going to post upgrades and whatnot when i feel like it. i have been reading alot on this forum and i like the vibes so i created an account here is some pics, the fairings is kinda rough. not sure if im going to change them out or not. new gears pressed Update 21-08-26 Finally ordered some parts for my scoot. Athena crankshaft, waterpump rebuild kit, stage6 sport pro cylinder. temp meter, etc. Also got myself a polini clutch for cheap The engine will be opened up and inspected tomorrow, hopefully i will have the new parts installed before monday. i still need to make a mount for my radiator, and find a good spot for it. anyway here is some pics from today

I bought a complete waterpump and radiator set that was taken from a yamaha aerox. I am saving up for a new crank + midrace cylinder and a bigger carb. Will post updates soon

Use buddy gears in your buddy. They will fit and should be a good gear ratio for the additional power. A good gear mod for the roughhouse is to swap on Buddy gears for the lower ratio on the 10" tire.

update with pictures in original post. So today I am going to split and clean the cases, will also measure if i can fit a v-force or malossi vl-14 reed cage in my block. the screw pattern differs a little bit so i might have to make a adapter plate for it. If i have the time and things go smooth the new crank + bearings will be installed today. Still not sure where to mount my radiator, some ppl mount it where the original headlight goes. and some move it behind the front wheel. if anyone know a good spot let me know, im trying to keep it discreet so i dont get pulled over the first time i meet the troopers here is a pic of a similar scooter with radiator mounted behind the front wheel. (i like this one but im scared about small stones etc hitting the radiator) And one with the radiator inside the front headlight. Lots of fun going on this weekend / Mike

The front wheel mount looks a lot better. It wouldn't be hard to make, or convert a stone guard from another bike.

Micky Next time you pull your trans apart would you be able to measure the diameters. Is the pgo malossi front pulley 95mm or 97 mm like the minarelli ? What is the diameter of the polini variator fan ?
