Yeah the placement behind the wheel looks good and stealthy, i will make a mount as soon as the engine is back together Forgot to check the part nr, i can measure the polini fan tomorrow. need to flush the trans because i got water in the overflow when i cleaned the cases so i have to take take that apart and flush with new oil. I matched the cases today and cleaned off old gasgets.

Did it have a paper gasket when you took it apart? Unless it was a thick gasket I can't see it being a problem.

It had a paper gasket, not sure what the thicknes was. the crank wont turn when the engine is tightened up. I think the Athena crank is wider than the original one. Im going to try with a 1.2 mm gasket tomorrow

If you have access to a press you can press it out just make sure it is 100% supported by the case half your trying to push the crank out of. A steering wheel puller or a puller of a similar design would work if there are holes in the case that a line drawn between them would go through the middle of the crankshaft.
