Look inside the boot and see if the clip inside is broken or missing. Left is for the standard spark plug tip, the black piece is the spring that holds the boot on the plug. Right is what you should see looking into a boot for a threaded tip plug. The red piece is the clip that holds the boot on the plug, and should have two legs.

Primary role of each part of cvt Take off is clutch springs for starting in bottom end of power band Contra strength is for preventing belt slip Weights are for targeting the power band That is a fun pipe Take which ever feels best 6 or 6.5 gram and gives you best Top Speed fun fun in the sun. ran for a fill up of the gas tank. Hit 47mph on 6g. My contra spring which I already have a yellow in it I found out then I need to take the clutch off and see what clutch springs are in it cuz I have the yellows sitting on the desk here. taking off is a little slow.

Your missing the top of the spark plug buy a new plug, tighten the end of the plug and clip your lead on to it ,it should need a little force but they fit with a satisfying duk as the clip grips the plug.

I don't know what is taking USPS so dang long to get my package here but it's new fuel filter, fuel lines, clamps and 6 gram rollers. The rpm tach is here, I'll finish it it up hopefully tomorrow when the package comes.
it's been too cold anyways to ride and today's been super 45 mph winds.

Bought this this 2008 adly hammerhead in oct 2018. Has a Minarrlli stretched shortcase motor. I finally got up to do upgrades to it.
Naraku belt. , upgraded when i bought the scooter. Hoca 17 spline 13mm variator bought when i purchased the scooter but just recently installed it. Upgraded the pipe as the stock one blew a hole, to a Tecnigas silent pro minarelli pipe recently. Jetted from #75 to #80. on mikuni 17.5mm stock carb. Tested with tuner rollers @6g, dr pulley 16mmx13mm 6g rollers are in the mail. I have as well with the same package with rollers fuel lines, fuel filter and clamps. Newish back tire ppl know the stabbing story, replaced the rim as well
Just a followup.
would anybody know how to stop the screaming of drum brake pads against the drum on the back rim? The original rim did it with old pads I used brake cleaner for the new rim, sanded down the pads back when I did it and it still squeaks high hell when i brake.

Drained the tank on the adly hammerhead, put new fuel lines on with a new fuel filter, "fuel lines aren't fun :/, well mine atleast", removed the tuning rollers and installed 16x13 6g dr pulley rollers. Changed out to new fresh gear oil. Filled the tank with 93 oct gas 50:1 mix amsoil dominator. the scooter is acting funky, what it could be i have no idea, its rainy so humidity can be a factor, high rpm while accelerating already doing 15mph or so and had to throttle back and forth to get it not to bog out. Screw driver got me in the process removing one of the fuel lines. uhg hurts.
