How did you make it into the scooter magazine? That's really neat. I didn't know there were scooter magazines to begin with lol
What wheels are those?

What speedometer are you running on your setup? I am having an impossible time finding a speedo-drive for my Dio 2 with aftermarket legs and wheels. The OEM Honda drive is way too wide to fit.

I have a taiwan 12mm set up on this bike. But i also have a 10mm jdm frontend to run my daytona wheels. Measure ur fork axle hole to see what styl u need. Also sometimes u need to shim or grind ur wheel spacer to center the wheel

Ur wheels will also determine what way u go. Most aftermarket forks are taiwan style 12mm. RRGS, feign, ncy etc. Oem honda dio, tact and us elite is 10mm.

This is the speedo meter Im running now. A cheap china 1. The gas gauge reads half when the bike is full... Im just too lazy to mess with it right now

I am using the OEM gauge cluster. The issue for me is the speedometer drive gear on the wheel. It has been *impossible* to find a good one.
What I have currently is some unknown brand 10mm speedo drive. I have 12mm NCY legs with the 12 to 10mm spacers SSS sells. I am using S23 10mm wheels. With the smallest spacer I can use on the disk side I still have a very small amount of space left over. I ended up grinding down the inner drive gear and the face of the speedo drive unit itself to make it fit. It fits and works now, however to make it fit I had to grind off the little stopper tab on the speedo drive so now when I move the bike the whole speedo unit spins around.
Next time im using JDM legs, the NCY legs were NOT worth it.

I think getting the correct 10mm legs would be the easiest. You can probably sell the ncys if u didn't modify them.

The clear glitter blue panels were starting to crack so I picked up a set of original honda dio panels. This color only came on drum brake dios so the headset color doesn't match. Ill prob paint match it later wince I dont want to run a hidden brake reservoir on this bike like my S and 89 have. Also lowered the rear end of the Dio with an adjustable shock. A little cruise the other night

Sorry to hear about the panels, how did they crack? I was kind of expecting that but not in less than 1 year... aftermarket panels arent as flexible as oem. It also doesn't help that our roads are kinda rough, my bike is lowered and Im on low profile tires. They just started a o crack around stressed areas, tabs and the key hole on the side.

Just saw it 2 weeks ago.
