i actauly have a triple 400 that i draged out of a barn but it sat for so long and every thing is frozen up as the barns roof leaked i had a 500 back in 91 or 92 when i was still in the army i so regret getting rid of that bike A triple 400 is a new one on me. Was that a 'states' bike? Guy I worked with in motor freight back in the latter 70s had a 500. His friend had a 750. Front tires lasted forever.... rears, a couple of months. :wheelie:

the s3 400 was a 2 year only 74 and 75 it replaced the s2 350

and vintage is so popular that places like royal enfield and ural are still makeing basicly the same bike
the new enfields are nice front disc efi (and every thing is hiden so its hard to tell if it wasnt for the missing kick start most people wouldnt know they also improved the trans so you can find neutral with out the lever)

My nearby triumph dealer also has Enfields. AND he always has demos out to ride. So i did. They are a lot of bike at a great price point. They have cool Cafe kits too.

and that big 500 cc single cyl is just a great engine the harley dealer that my brotherinlaw bought his hog from has them

sounds like you had a good mix of bikes those kwak's are nice a good 500 or 750 is big money now that rd was lovely though
