From my research, it looks like a japan jog 2ja. How did that end up in St. Louis? ...maybe someone in the military brought it to the states after being stationed in Japan..? After a couple hours of pic searching google, i finally found a 2ja with pics posted for sale here on Oahu, Hawaii. ...who knows how the 2ja i saw arrived in Honolulu? |

It also looks the geoffh's Grandad Jog in the build section. He has it listed as a CG50. In Hawaii, any type of genuine Jog is very rare here. Hence the listing i seen for the 2ja here selling for $800, listed as from japan.

Once I get it running properly do I just leave it stock? I’m only riding in the city. If it can do 40 stock I’d be cool. But being a lardass I’ve got a feeling ima gon need a little more whomptoo.

A quick google search resulted in a Cast Mallossi big bore from Scooter Swap Shop and an Athena single ring 47.6 aluminum bore on Amazon both aound $150. The Athena might be a little too nuts for your liking. The Malossi cast may suit your needs. |

Do they sell ported 50cc kits?
Do i need to disconnect the oil injection if I put on a kit?
Hopefully I can bring her home Monday
One more thing wasn’t there a 90cc jog? Was it available in the US?

It,s already a "she" start build thread to get all the help in one spot,a word of caution Yamaha have used the Jog name for many years and many different models,mostly 50cc scoots,this has led to multiple mistakes in parts catalogues multiplied by the interweb parts can be a nightmare so be careful before you waste $$$.get it home,get it running, for short city runs it,s a blast.I have not tried to find gears for my CG50 but I think it,s a limiting factor.
