I got me a jog. It’s banged up, wired weird missing things, but its a jog Here’s what I know I’ll need to do Clean and paint the panels Look over the wiring, Get a front brake lever and cable Find a center stand for it (optional) New battery Check if oil injection works
I’m sure there’s more
What I’d like to do: Bbk and upjet the carb New pipe Make it look less “80’s” Re cover seat

Counter idea: Make it look MORE 80's.
The mo' RAD the better.

Hi glad you got it home,it,s very similar to my jog CG50 take a picture of the side view please where the floor pan meets the front, mine had stood for many years, crucial to it,s rebirth was a manual petcock and the loom from the stator ran under the engine was faulty and the crankcase was full of un used fuel,I have some parts panels etc and a manual for it but I am in the U.K so logistics are "difficult" let's see how you get on.

That's a good start. I like the 80's look. Get it running well. Then I would try and improve the running gear.

Definitely make this a slick 1980s ripper. Those mint panels are so sweet

I haven’t done much with it yet but I have a few questions- I opened up the carb and it was bone dry. Some previous owner put a manual petcock in it but I’d like to go back to the vacuum petcock I assumed it had. I can only find them for cy50, will that work? Or should I get a different carb? Any suggestions?

When this scoot came out I was a senior in high school, bad grades, no good at sports and girls wouldn’t talk to me. I’d prefer to forget the 80’s (I can’t remember much of the 90’s....but I was in my 20’s by then)

As long as your carb has a vacuum port to take off. It should be simple to change back. If you port a picture of the petcock you have now. We could match it up.

It looks like it’s been poorly Jerry rigged. I should remove the tank and get a better look at it and see where I am. There’s nothing like fixing somebody else’s “improvements”. I’d prefer to take it back to stock, get it running well then start on the performance mods. Don’t get me started on the electrical- I haven’t even looked at it yet but I can tell I have a lot of work ahead of me.
