Can I even be bothered with either today. Best plod on with car get it shifted I suppose. That's after I have procrastinated a bit more on the chair.

I've got a 1968 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door that I can fit your car in the trunk (boot).
I'm familiar with English car terms (off-side (drivers side away from the curb), near-side (passenger side (near the curb), bonnet (hood in the US, covers engine), hood (roof in US, covers passenger compartment), etc). I worked for a car restoration shop and we did a 1949 MG TC EXU (Export, United States), we also did a 1965 Morgan. Both Right hand drive. Really weird driving on the wrong side of the car. Shifting gears with my left hand was hard to learn.
