My new scooter mirrors are adjusting on their own in the wind. Not the screw in part, the part where you grab the mirror and twist turn move. Any tricks to keep them from moving last time long time ago I used a hose clamp and clamped the ball part.

These have the ball inside the mirror. Gonna run to the hardware store maybe small hose clamps around the arm pushed against the flexible thing, stiffen that up.

Whatever works is worth doing!
You might want mirror extenders to move the mirrors out farther. They are available on Amazon, cheap. Mirror extenders really make a difference. Before, all I saw was my arms, now I can actually see behind me. Be aware there are 8mm and 10mm mirrors (the screw portion of the mirror).

Some mirrors have the capability to adjust the tension of the ball and socket clamping. Can't tell for sure but I think this mirror does, for example

If you pull the plastic cover down that covers the ball swivel part. There is usually little screws that clamp the ball. Tighten them up, it won't move. Saying that my typhoon is the first ever mirror you can't. I haven't seen a mirror you can't do it on before.
