Hi im new on the forum, from EU, can't write very well, i'm currently "building" 07' keeway hurricane Kn1E40Qmb witch only ebay/chinese or used brand parts as cheap as possible, i have some issues and dont want to spend ton of money trubleshoting it, what parts you guys sugest to geet?
Things i done to it: 70cc cylinder kit - ebay stock crank Stage6 pro replica - used Derestricted cdi -ebay Red cluth springs - ebay taken of 3 rollers out of ~5g kit so its ~2,5g i think stock carb no air filter 96 main jet, oil pump delete rest is stock
Runs fine, from a dig it bogs for a sec then hits good power goes to 31mph then power stops for sec and hits again till 51mph its max, i want to fix the bogging sytuation, other problem im having is when i drive it at max speed some times moped shouts off at high speed witch is very scarry almost like piston stopt instantly or something blocked in cvt or crank case, it hapen twice maybe is over reving i dont have tac dont know the rpm
Parts im planing to get to fix issues and increase performance: Fake dellorto 19mm - ebay Hebo blue counter spring - ussed 3,30g rollers - ebay

Shut down at high speed could be a fuel issue. Is it while cruising at high speed or are you at full throttle. You might be slightly lean. If it happens at cruising, it could be the needle setting. If at WOT possible that the main is slightly lean.
Do you have a cylinder head temperature gauge? They really are invaluable when diagnosing these issues.

I just re'read and saw that you mentioned hesitation at 31 before it accelerates again. Definitely check the needle. Sounds like it is too lean.

Update on ebay build: i just instaled fake dellorto 19mm carb witch 82 main jet but i ordered too small air filter i got 32mm instead of 38mm, im runing open carb and it works great, spark plug looks fine more on the line side ill try up jet to ~85 main jet, problem im having right now is that my moped pulls hard from start to around 28mph and holds this speed im thinking cvt shifts to quick therefore i need stifer contra spring, im thinking malossi sport white +30%

Welcome to the forum. I think what you are experiencing is the variator running out of travel. After 20-25mph, the variator is maxed out. You are effectively in top gear. The only way to go faster, is increasing the revs. The pro rep needs quite light weights, and carefully setting up to get the best of it. It sounds like you are getting a cross over point between the gearing of the variator, and the start of the pipes power band.

I have a similar bike. ‘08 Keeway f-act. With a 70cc engine and sport pipe I had horrible drivability from 30-40mph. It’s the damn dual angle torque driver. It’s bad. (Not broken, just hard to live with) Do whatever you need to do to find and fit a straight groove torque driver and suitable contra spring in the rear. This one modification will change how it revs and runs through from 0-50mph. Took away my frustration and replaced it with a smile.
