Yes 5/8 and 13/16.....but I can't get the compression gauge to screw in ...it's as if the threads are different.....are they?...

not that i know of. thats weird. that thing is just plain weird lol
if a plug will screw in but not the fitting for the compression gauge, i would suspect the fitting.

i dont know much about scoots, but have been an auto mech. and service tech. does this engine have an oil pump, and if so is is possible an oil passage or line in the block is damaged and causing the problem? could be way off but just had to stick my 2 cents in.

49ccsofdestruction yes it does have an oil pump....it is a 150 GY6 short case....with a 47mm bore...vice 57mm for the 150....making it a GY6 100 cc... 57.8 stroke..same as a GY6 150... Owned one before...put 14,000 K on it....before selling it....with the original plug and belt even!!!!....it was an awesome scoot....guy has 18,000 K on it now...still rides it everyday...this one sux though...it gets 85 mpg ...but only 5 miles before it blows a quart of oil from the the valve cover vent tube...compression is good..148 psi....ring gap is only .002 ....it used to go 60-62(chase car verified)....but now 35 is the best I can do...One day I was riding...it bogged..blew oil...and that is pretty much all it does now...oil sump is dry in 5 miles... Took the head apart..valves and seals are good..lapped n ground the the valves....even...got no clue...bro never had a Chinese bike I could not fix or diagnose..... :chinese:

49ccsofdestruction...retired USMC Medic....but raised on a a farm...we were poor and did all our repairs...I even did as my dad used to do...run the engine for 5 minutes with diesel vice oil....it always cleaned the sludge from our tractors...all I know...something is plugged?...hell I don't know anymore...
