Can you tell me if these other street exhaust system mentioned above would bolt up or require modification to the brackets like the stage 6 street exhaust on the roughhouse?

I am on my third stealth pipe, with a few stock ones in between, all the exhausts I have fitted have needed "extra work " or spacers shims to get that all important flange to barrel gasket to seal correctly ,you may get lucky but be prepared,if you don't,t have a garage full of odd and ends leave some time to visit the hardware shop.

So far I have not found a pipe that bolts up that fits a zuma and roughhouse .
The minnarelli pipes that fit the zuma's the mounting holes behind the fan are farther apart than on the roughhouse .
The only ones that might are the ones made directly for a pgo/roughouse .

I have been running the prima sport for about two years. I ran it on a stock cylinder and the polini sport, both bolted up perfectly. The sport pipe seems to make the most power at 7700 rpm. With lighter rollers it revs higher but accelerates slower. I have a prima tuned pipe coming in this weekend. I'll update that fit when i know more.
I removed the welch plug on the stock carb, it was just a plastic cap, came out with a just a pick. Used a dremel to cut a slot in the screw, but after adjusting it to the best setting it was right back where it was from the factory.

Lurch With that scooter works sport pipe where does it peak out for revs on stock cylinder and with the polini kit ? How about speed ? They advertise 3-4 mph extra . What jetting did you settle on They suggest a 10% upgrade over stock on scooterworks That seems like a big jump for a low revving pipe

I didn't have a tach on the original cylinder. I put the pipe on almost as soon as i got the scoot. If i remember correctly it would do 43 stock. There was no real top speed increase with the addition of just the pipe but it got there faster and felt better and wasn't loud. I think i used a 95 main jet. The stock might have been 86???
With the polini cylinder it doesn't rev above 8100 without the influence of a hill. I upped the main jet to 100 or 102 and the idle jet to 38. The sliders are 7.5 grams which is way heavier than everyone else seems to use but that's what works the best for me. It has been a fun reliable setup that can raise the front tire but the low rpm holds back the top speed.

lurch what is your top speed now with polini and the scooterworks sport exhaust malossi multivar ? if you could throw up a build thread with your upgrades so others can learn from your work. Not enough roughhouse builds on here .

I put the Prima sport exhaust on today with a 90 main jet. I took it for a ride and it ran well but seemed lazy. It almost seemed slower. The air was very humid. I will try another test before i try the stock jet 85 .

With stock motor the 90 and 88 was too large for and made it feel lazy and flat and deep sounding . The 85 works pretty good With both the 38 and stock 35 pilot jet .
I am not seeing any big increase for top speed the pipe seems designed for the same rpm range as the cylinder all don by 8k rpms .

I ordered jets and I will try the #85. Did you notice any increase in acceleration?

It feels spunkier than the stock pipe . I did not try the 82 jet I stopped at the 85 . The 85 throttle response felt right and sound at wide open had that Hornet Buzz.
If you listen when you are rich it sound deeper if you are way rich it will sound deep and it will gurgle wont rev up and performance will be terrible . When you get in Range of a good tune it will start sounding like buzzing hornets it will rev up with power . When you start to go lean it will sound Zingy . When you are way lean it will be way zingy and it will rev up but no power
Do you have a temp gauge to make sure you are not leaning it out too far . I was also using a temp gauge to see where temps leveled off the 88 and 90 stayed below 290 They both were within 5-10 degrees of each other. The 85 levels off in the 320-330 range on long 3 mile wide open runs . The 3 points from 88 to a 85 added 30-40 degrees . So I did not drop down to the 82 for my daily rider .
A good tuning rule is find a main jet that levels off below 350 on all day wide open runs .

I prefer the trail tech tto 742-ET3 I also bought the 48 " extension so i could mount it up by speedometer the battery lasts longer than 5 years . I have bought cheaper ones but i was spending money replacing batteries each season.
