Got a Q, looking to add a little tire diameter to the rear wheel to up the top speed of my 4 stroke 50cc Vino. Currently the bike has 90/90-10 tires front and rear. Has anyone tried a 100/90-10 tire on the rear with the 90/90-10 front? I like the big/little look, but am wondering if it will clear/fit in the rear of a 4T 50cc Vino. It looks close.

I have not done this on a Vino to tell you for sure. If I had to guess, I'd imagine you could go up from 90/90 to 100/90. Just look at the sides of the tire and what's near them and see how much room you have around the circumference of the tire, especially at the case. That said, I've went all the way up to a 120/90-10 from a 3.50x10 (pretty much the same as a 90/90-10) on a different scoot and it really doesn't make a lot of difference in speed/RPM. You may see 1-2MPH out of it. There are tire size and drive calculators on the link below if you want to play around with theoretical gains. www.49ccscoot.com/calculators.html

Tire size increase gives almost negligible returns. Final drive gear ratio works the best but it is always a speed/acceleration trade-off.
