Hi, piaggio typhoon 2004 with 70cc s6 mk2, 24mm pwk, yasuni c16, mvt dd. Problem is that when i let go off the throttle when speeding the revs wont return to idle. Only when the scooter stops the revs return to idle. I thought it could be airleaking but when reving still the revs return perfect. It sounds like the cluch doesnt let go off the clutch bell. Its almost like motorbraking. I have tunedthe jetting and variator in everyway but nothing works. I will send a video if nesesary:)

Revs don’t slow at all and seem tied to speed while deccerating?

Your clutch is probably still engaged .
Stock clutch on my scooters engages around 3500 so it really only disengaeges below 10 mph . After I upgraded clutch springs to medium strength to get better take off . The clutch engages closer to 5k rpms so on deceleration it doesn't really disengage till it gets below 20 mph .

I tested for air leak with a bicycle tyre. So that i cut it in half and one side goes to inlet and other exhaust. Then i filled with air. Sprayed soapwater in every possible leaking place but the air didnt escape anywhere.

Iautio, those are hi performance parts you put together, you may have to step back a little before you can balance them out,I would try the old carb first or try the old clutch just to see.

Have you tried greasing the pins the clutch shoes ride on? My stage6 clutch came w/o any grease on those pins. I'd also make sure the shoes pivot freely and don't hang up.

Engine wont roll freely when i turn throttle off. Its motorbraking like if the cluch engages all the time untill speed is 5kmh. How can i send a video?

You'll have to upload video to youtube or something similar than post the URL here.
Are you using the correct size clutch bell for the clutch or is the rear brake hanging up?

Ok, i also tried with the original cluch but it didnt have any difference The term "clutch" gets tossed around for different parts and functions. When you say you put the original on with no change, was it the whole clutch assembly that mounts onto the driven pulley (assuming gy6 style) ? Or was it just the bell, or just the springs? Zino is onto something, if your not familiar with these CVT's it is a trait for the drivetrain to be locked until the clutch rpm decreases to below disengagement. Coasting down or even a downhill can cause the wheel to ground drive the clutch even if the throttle is closed.

And the clutch that now im using is s6 sport pro with red springs. And torque spring is s6 medium. Bell naraku. Rollers were 4g then 4.5g and then i tried 5g. Revs actually goes bit earlier to idle rpm than with lighter rollers
