This is very upsetting. There was lots of talks about his future build from Facebook messenger. Helping him get his aerox forks and wheel sent to him and just discussing life in general. I'm gonna miss those chats as I got to know him over time, he was a very sincere person with a keen eye for detail with a stern attitude of someone who meant business in their goals and achievements. He will be missed by those not only around him but by many who got to know him, even if it was only by online chat

Hello dearest scooter in-laws,
I am el, Ken's partner. Although he may have begun his journey with scooters in his younger days, twas I who purchased the jog that re-ignited his love for making scoots go fast. We took 8+ hour road trips to pick up some of these damn scooters and he showed me around his hometown via scoot. I know at one point there were 3 jogs. I fished the dumpster scoot (a honda...? elite?) out of this GHETTO ass neighborhood we lived in. Then there was a kymco... some zumas... then I couldn't keep up anymore. All I know is the current jog is mine. I still take that bad boi to work.
Anyways, what I guess I'm trying to say is that I adored going on scoot trips with this man, and will likely continue to do so solo because I just love that feeling. Some of my most loved moments of Ken and our lives involved scoots. So thank you all for bringing this dope ass hobby into our lives.
P.S. I will probably be starting a thread asking for help identifying scooter parts and their value from his stash for those interested and able to help (maybe there's even something you want to buy, I have no idea)
May all your builds go according to plan,
el

El,my deepest sympathy for your loss,Ken asked me to ship some wheels to him from the U.K. which I did on the understanding and my insistence that it,s to be at cost and a thank you was enough,Ken reluctantly agreed to theses terms. It,s a measure of the man that he took the time and trouble to arrange a small but now cherished gift to be delivered to my home thousands of miles away,Ryan had a hand in that I assume.I knew of his plans to relocate you both,if you can follow those dreams.

It's amazing how connected we can all feel through these forums even though most of us have never met. Ken helped me with my Dio build, always seemed enthusiastic to help and lend a hand, even over PM or message boards.
I'm not a religious person but I will be today. Sending Ken, El and his loved ones all the positive vibes I have. I hope they are all doing well.
EDIT: El if you need help identifying parts or working his scooter(s) please don't hesitate to ask in the forums or me personally. I'm certain everyone is happy to help.

Brent is one of the most objective and fair individuals I’ve come across in life. The quality of person you are the the treatment you are receiving from this place are on such opposite ends of the “how to be a human” spectrum, the sense of injustice makes my blood f*ckin boil. I’m shaking as we speak.
The very least (and probably most mature/responsible) you could do is write a review like that. It’s very clear, concise, and honest. What you’ve been the entire time with them. They’ve taken their display is complete incompetence at their chosen profession out on you. You’ve been an exemplary human.
I calibrate and maintain medical devices for a living and if I were to be as a negligent as they were, someone could be injured. Thankfully idiots like this can only damage people’s wheels and such. But whether you’re damaging wheels or causing heart attacks, I cannot endorse willful ignorance and will sometimes actively try and mitigate it or it’s effects when they seem too glaring.
I really want to walk down there and help them adjust their behavior too. You don’t treat others like that unwarranted."
when i first read this post, i thought to myself, "this guy is intense" and his words stood out to me. he reminded me of how it is here in Hawaii, people ready to throw down if someone is acting Unrighteous. then a few days later, i jump on the forum to see the news of Ken. didn't really dawn on me at first, but then i read the news article...
Hit and Run... the driver never even stop. that's fuct up. it's not Pono. Pono in Hawaiian means "Balanced, Righteous, Proper".
years ago i delved into Dark Magic. i learned from the Hawaiians that there were priests that could pray and heal people that were miles and miles away. these were the Kahuna Pule (kahuna: priest. pule: prayer.) years ago an Okinawan lady told me that it is possible to "curse" people, but it comes with a "burden". along the the journey of life, i also learned how to "unzip" someone. basically, without touching a person, it is possible to steal their Chi (chinese for power/life force), and once you do that you render them weak no matter how strong they are prior to them being "unzipped".
normal practice for me was to send out the prayer on the Full Moon. July 23, 2021 (Friday) is the Full Moon. So, some people on the Mainland like act like that, hit and run someone on a moped and not stop to render aide. that's Fuct up.
on this Friday, I am going to send out a Dark Magic prayer to the Universe for that person that hit and run Kenho. people like do "unrighteous" things, time for that person experience Loss seven-fold. the beauty of the Dark Magic is that i never lay a hand on anyone, and then they spend the rest of their life wondering why Life fell apart. ...and this day in age, no one believes in witchcraft, curses, and Dark Magic, but they don't have to believe it because some of us Know it.
--Don't get me wrong, i only use the Dark Magic when it is justified. i learned from a Hawaiian hit man that all hits are justified, you don't just go out there in the world unleashing the Magic without justification.
as for the person that hit Kenho21, may that person live a very very long life ...in misery.

EL, Ken was lucky to have such a caring person in his life. It's rare that someone finds a person to share their hobbies and passions with them. The ken posted that you had dumpster dived and Elite I posted that you were a keeper. Please except my condolences on your loss. We are all here for you, anything you need we will help you with. You and Ken will be in my thoughts and prayers.
