Ok, I have a stage6 mk1 race cylinder. Has 120psi compression. I couldn't get the 24mm carb to work so I put a 19mm polini. Arb on. And still. Any get it to work. A 100 jet seemed to be 2 rich and my 90 jet? Idk? Can anybody tell me what size jets they are running so I have an idea. Because as of right. Now I'm about to blow my scooter up! Literally!

As the duke once said "windage and elevation" bigger is not always better you can get lost in the tuning process. No one can tell you the answer to your set up but a step backwards to a usable state and then note taking through the "journey" might help you figure it out.

Define it’s current state better. That’ll help. Too rich is typically trouble achieving higher rpms under any kind of load either light or heavy. Too lean is Hot Death.

I know that knowbody can tell me exact. But I just wanted to see what size jet others are using so I can get an idea. I believe using the 90 jet is still 2 rich. And the only other smaller jet I have is a 79 and I think that's 2 lean. So I have to order another set. We will see I guess. I'm going to order a new temp gauge also. Anybody have one for sale? Or recommendations for a good cheap one? One thing I wish the Aprilia had was a opening under the seat for easy access to the carb. Would make everything do much easier! Well job interview now. Hope I get it. 2nd shift sucks!

First, a you're in the ballpark with that 90-100 jet range. Its certainly NOT rich...so be careful!
Second, is your ignition system working like it's supposed to? It sounds like you have a weak spark. Clip 1/4 inch of off the end of the plug wire and re-fit the plug boot tightly. Check if the plug boot clamps snug on the plug.
Third, did you check for air leaks? Air leaks can throw off your jetting big time.
Last, What pipe are you running? With a S6 racing mk1 (not ported) and a 19mm carb you should end up somewhere between 90 and 110 main jet. Be it a stock pipe or a Yasuni C16. So you're close.

I think you may be right about spark. I have stock intake stock Reed valve with carbon fiber reeds. 19mm polini carb. stage6 k1 race cylinder and a c16 exhaust. I had a c20 on but it seemed 2 big for my current setup. it almost sounds like its gurgling. I don't have a leakdown tester but when I sprayed starting fluid I had no change in rpm's maybe tomorrow ill be able to throw one together. any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Also is it true if yo can start your engine cold without using the choke that its 2 rich?
