My original vento hand switches corroded and crumbled when taking them apart to take a look at the connections. I ordered new ones. I cannot for the life of me, figure out where I need to wire the Green/Red wire that leads to the right hand switch connector. If I understand correctly, It leads to the magneto. The right hand switch only has a starter button (green/yellow + purple) and then the kill switch to its own connector (Green + Black) note, I checked continuity of the kill switch and it does close the circuit. The motor turns over but it will not start. I have a suspicion that the green/red wire has something to do with it. I have fuel, I have solid compression, but I have NO spark when checking for arc against cylinder head. I have power to brake lights, turn signals, and starter turns over. The major difference between the two hand switches for the right side is that it does not have a (Lights on, Running lights, and No light) switch. Maybe some of you gurus can help. I just cant figure this one out. This is a 1pe50qmf motor I looked over these two diagrams about a million times but I cant figure out how to bridge or bypass this green/red wire without shorting or setting fire to something. www.49ccscoot.com/pics/Wiring%20Diagrams/TRITON%20ELECTRIC%20DIAGRAM2.jpgand www.49ccscoot.com/pics/Wiring%20Diagrams/Keeway_Matrix_Wiring.jpg

Wow, you got quite a project there.
Confused on which machines? You list one and show diagrams for two others? Why did you chose either of those diagrams?
Both diagrams show the Grn/rd wire to be the low power output from a dual circuit style stator. The half wave, single phase style. That wire would usually be the yellow wire on most gy6 machines. I believe it should go to the main light input on which ever side It shouldn't affect spark.
The kill switch will obviously affect spark. Don't know if yours runs the ignition through the on/off key switch?

Traced it back to the cdi being fried. Replaced it and I'm running again.
