I will second the OKO flat slide carb Man, what a difference. I have a 52mm big bore and big valve head. I just put a 26mm Nibbi power jet flat slide on. I could never run a CVK carb again . I'll never run another scooter with anything but a flat slide man I see all these threads and posts about where to find a true 20mm cvk carb and if it really is a true 20mm. Imo that's all a waste of time, effort and money how many 30 dollar carbs u gonna buy looking for a real 20mm when in reality even if u get a 20mm cvk it's not gonna do half of what a flat slide does. U got a 50mm airsal piston and a stroker crank with a 21mm oko I've recently just broke over 60mph in flat ground right now in a cooler day I'm keeping 60 to 61 mph flat no wind and I've seen 66 slight down hill and I'm doing 0 to 40 mph in between 9 and 10 seconds and I believe I can shave a second off that I'm still working on tuning the cvt it's not where I want it yet I don't believe I'd even be close to that with a cvk idc what size or brand. Certainly not the 0 to 40 maby close to same top speed. My next thing I want to do is a 52 mm cylinder with a Forged piston and u wanna juice it I'm gonna try to use the 100 dollar dry nitrous kit from Amazon but I'm gonna make it into a wet system to add some extra fuel with the nitrous 😁. Probably gonna get a cheap 52mm kit from Amazon to experiment with at first once I dial it in I'm going with the naraku 52mm cylinder and piston 🤔 I guess we'll see how that works lol fingers crossed 😂 Hey just bought a Kymco agility 4stroke, it’s unrestricted and runs about 40 already but I’d like to look into the flat slide carb with this one, found the pilot jet completely plugged as I was going through things today. What all does one need to convert to a flat slide?

What all does one need to convert to a flat slide? . Get urself a oko flat slide 21mm and a pwk throttle cable the carb is 69 the cable is 15 plus shipping. Depending on ur scoot u may have to cut the seat bucket a bit to accept the cable bc it goes into top of carb. They make a pwk angled top to help with that issue it's 15 bucks for the top but I think I've seen the oko sold with the angled top for 70 also but I don't remember where parts for scooters I think has the angled top one but that's who I use. Or ncy store both places are really good. I had to jet way down with mine I was running a 105 main in a cvk carb and it took me a long time to realize I needed smaller. I run a 88 main in my set up 139qmb with a stroker and 50mm airsal piston and big valve head. Any questions regarding jetting feel free to hit me up there a little harder to fine tune the jetting but we'll worth it. They also take a different main jet they take the I believe it's 5mm but the hex style. Same idle jet. U run 39 idle and 88 main just to give a idea where u should be

I got a 21mm flat slide on ebay for like $30. how is that working for u I had one of those before my oko it used the round style jets but I could never get it tuned correct I've read that some of the small passages aren't drilled the same as the okos one of the article I read was saying the hole where the float needle seals was smaller and they were going through how to drill it out to same size as the oko I'm assuming the bowl was not filling fast enough. I forget where I read that but they seemed very knowledgeable and also recommended using some of the genuine oko replacement parts I believe one difference he was saying was the oko slide is chrome and most of the eBay ones were not and the cut out was slightly different. And also I think they were saying the chokes on them go and the oko fits along with drilling out the float fill hole and getting a oko float needle. If ur interested I'll see if I can find that article

It's a little more powerful with the 26mm. The slide is chrome on both of mine. The 26 is a NIBBI .

Or should I just get a decent replacement?

Or should I just get a decent replacement? u can buy the diaphragm but honestly if u want reliability and ur not hurting for money just go on parts for scooters and order either a replacement carb or better would be a naraku cvk carb if u are looking to add power get a oko 21mm flat slide carb with the angled top and a pwk throttle cable it will increase power a lot not so much top speed but u will put hella power down till u get to speed. I don't really even use the carbs that come on the scoots that's one of the first things I change there junk and lag on power. I won't run anything but a flat slide anything thing else just feels slow after running a flat slide

I just pull the slide out of the 24 OKO with the cable attached, and slide it in the NIBBI. The NIBBI is black and red

Ordered a new replacement carb for the Lifan, most likely won’t keep it after it’s up and running. Wondering why there are 8 gram rollers in the Lifan and only 5 in the Kymco? Hard to believe the Lifan can pull that weight, the few times I’ve gotten it to run decent it really pulled well up top.

the nibbi is a round slide or flat slide I've only seen the nibbi with round slide that I know off unless I just haven't noticed but my buddy's 26 is a round It uses the same slide as my OKO flats. I just pull the slide out of the 24 OKO with the cable attached, and slide it in the NIBBI. The NIBBI is black and red Can you advise me on my last post? 18 gram difference in weight between the 2 scoots, how is that possible that they can pull that much difference in weight? Also what is a good tuning tach to purchase?
