Hello gentlemen,
I'm new in the scooter world and I need some help. I find that the stock head lights are dim. I would like to make them brighter for security reasons.
Here is what I have and done.
1st I put some LED lights. 2nd I removed the stock wire harness and made a new one (in the stock harness you are missing a connector on each light).
My issue is that the second light (LED) is dim but not the 1st one.
Oh it would help if I tell you what I have as a scooter. It's a Yamaha BWS 50cc.
Any ideas?
Thank you
JL

Welcome to the forum. You can't just add in another wire to the old wires. The right way to do it is through a relay. You might find that the stator isn't making enough voltage to power two lights. If you run twin lights it might be too much for the charging system.

One light may be High Beam and the other low. Try flicking the High-low beam switch.

I did run a wire from one light to the other. If I replace the dim LED with the original light they both light up. But I think it would be to hard on the stator to leave it like that.

Highly recommend you get a pair of LEDs. Sucked an expensive battery dry with dual high beams.
