Is there any way to make stock airbox less noisy? Whenever I remove this piece (see on picture) the sound of my engine get pretty deep and loud and I don't want it but I also don't want it to be restricted as much as it is right now. In my country scooter tuning is considered as illegal and my scooter is already modified as much as u can get it (not visually) and I spacially don't want it to be too loud because it is loud already. Anyone idea how to do it?

If you dont have bigger cylinder that doesnt restrict so much take the exhaust restrictions of it will rev faster an gain a little more speed

I have 70cc malossi cast cylinder (liquid cooled), ported and trenched engine case, stage6 intake, 20.5mm dellorto carb with electric choke and yasuni R 70cc exhaust with all restrictions removed. Pretty much nothing is stock just airbox, the intention is to get as much power as it gets with lowest noise possible. I mean it's already pretty loud but I don't want to be any louder and removing this (see on picture) make huge noise difference.

Yes it does my scooter a lot louder. I just bought cylinder for Yamaha Aerox with correct piston for my crankshaft, added waterpomp, made custom bracket behind the front wheel for radiator and done you have LC keeway. Engine is minarelli clone so all parts fit.

At that level of tuning, the stock air box will probably not make a massive difference. Unless that snorkel is really restricted. I would leave it in, and just fit a free flowing panel filter inside. Any sort of free flowing air box will be loud. You could try putting some baffles into the box to limit the noise. Anyone who knows anything about scooters would know from a distance it's not legal.

Thank u aeroxbud baffles is actually a good idea, I’ll try it for sure. The snorkel itself is 14mm (inside) and my intake have 25mm so I think it is quite restrictive considering my carb is 20,5mm. Thanx once again.
