Hi everyone, I am creating a master sheet to document the most appropriate combos of cylinders, pipes, carbs and more for horizontal minarelli motors. Please feel free to share your experience here so we can take the guess work out of selecting the right parts for future two stroke scooter enthusiasts! Zinorepherence290GTVertaeroxbudryan_ottbenjigutiwarriorKenho21I'm calling y'all out! Everyone/anyone else please feel free to provide your experiences. Here is what I have so far: evnelson315.github.io/scooter/scooter.htmlplease provide all inputs on your setup: Cylinder, pipe, carb, jetting, springs, crank Brent, maybe if you get credit for affiliate links, I can add hyperlinks for each product to help out the forum.

I can totally work off of that. I like being able to read across rather than up and down. Thank you!!!

I have never had a Yamaha zuma, or Vino. I guess a similar level of tuning would apply to the aerox, and Jog water cooled motor though.

This is a good resource . I read it a few years back it helped me avoid getting race pipes with undersized carbs and kits that could not keep up with the high rpm pipes .

Nice to see this list emerge again here on the boards! This list originates (apart from the parts mentioned in profile 6) all the way back from 2002!!! scooterforum.net/threads/setup-profielen-minarelli-piaggio.15813/I've read through it so many times back when I just got into mopeds at around 15/16 yrs/o (I am 34 now). It still holds up though! Some of the parts listed are so oldskool, I love reading through it again! Thanks for the throwback!

hellish you might want to add a column for stock air box by jetting .
All the builds I listed are with stock airbox ,Almost all were with snorkle in . Where my jetting was a notch higher with same pipe and kit it is when I removed snorkle .
With the 70 cc sport and stock pipes even some street pipes ,I often was able to go with a mild upjet . The racier pipes caused me to bump the jetting more .
The pod filter I ran on a eton beamer was so finicky and I went from 80-94 mikuni.
Eton Beamer Airsal 70 cc stock carb ,80 main jet which was stock, stock crank ,stock exhaust, stock clutch springs stock air box Airsal 70cc stock carb 92-95 main jet ,stock crank, stock exhaust ,stock clutch springs ,pod filter .

Thank you!
I updated my page with an airbox/pod column and included your examples.
Let's keep this going! The next step I want to do is create hyperlinks to where these components can be purchased.

ghostaroni Hey Ghost, just read over your build thread. Are you running a Corsa or Contessa? Page 1, you say Corsa, in your video, you label it as a Contessa. Just making sure

I feel pretty honored to be included here, but not sure what to add really. I think the biggest piece of advice I can give is to plan out your mods. And honestly, do everything at once. It sucks because it's pricey that way, but you can spend a lot more trying to do the minimal. An easy intro to "complete" builds for a Zuma for example would be: Top performance black trophy or Athena sport bbk Yasuni c16 or polini for race pipe OEM carb with up jet (88 seems to work well) Snorkel removed from airbox Top performance rear pulley Malossi fly clutch w/ spring kit 3.5-5.0g rollers Couple different rear springs
That would be "fairly" cheap to get started and probably be pretty fun for a summer or two while still be upgradable with a mid-race bore, new crank, big carb/intake/reed kit, overrange, upgears, etc once you decide you wanna try to hit 70mph like you see everyone doing. But it really depends on what you wanna do.. an OEM bike with a black trophy bbk, tecnigas nextr, and a cvt/clutch/rear pulley upgrade is great for braappin around the neighborhood.
