Yo ... so here's the deal , i have a cool new scoot , a yamaha xmax 250cc (yp250r minarelli engine) and i wanna make it go faster !! the problem is that it wont go above 125 km/h .. its so anoying ... it can do 140 km/h , i know it can So far ... the mods on it made by me are the following: -LeoVince Nero aluminium full system exhaust (bought from a site in italy) has DB killer on and a inside sound dampen washer -12 gram Bando rollers -Yellow clutch springs -Yellow clutch pulley spring note that the variator and flywheel pulley thingie (i forgot how its translated from romanian sorry ) Goes inside the variator , it has a little neck that connects them at top speeds Also .. the stock variator has a metallic plate screwed on the back of it ... may that be a restrictioner ? im gonna go for a malossi multivar upgrade soon , what do you guys think ?

That is the top speed of these bikes, about 77mph on the speedo. It's just over 70 GPS. They are not really restricted, they just only make over 20 horse power. It's the same top speed and power as the Vespa 250. Coincidence? 🤔 Do the sharpie test to see if you are getting full variator travel. A better variator might gain you a few mph.
