Has anyone installed this on a Honda Elite SA50? I'm wondering about the fitment with the lower race. If I did purchase this tree, I would be planning on cutting and welding it to have the Elite top half and be the correct length. I'm familiar with the NCY tree that is plug and play, and that some people cut and weld the Metropolitan tree. This tree is around the same price as what I see the Metropolitan tree go for, so I'm interested in this as an alternative.

Hard to say. I've not bought much from AliExpress/Alibaba. But it seems real hit or miss. They won't know what type of aluminum those are made off, which would be a concern of mine. It may well be 3003.
What is the cost? You might see if you could have something that will fit the desired steerer tube and forks made out of 6061 for some the same price, minus the steering tube. It's a pretty simple part, if you have a friend who's good with cad it shouldn't take long to draft.

About the same cost of a Metropolitan stem, but the Metropolitan stem is narrower. I may just end up buying the plug and play $270 NCY stem.
