hi. so again with the same question. hoping to have a definitive answer. I CANT AFFORd THE BORING TOOL NOR TO DISASSEMBLE WHOLE ENGINE AND GO TO A MACHINE SHOP !
with a ncy 81 or 88cc ( both same skirt sice ) do i need to bore my damn case ?? 10 say yes 10 say no... and i cant really remove my cylinder to measure....
engine is a 139QMB with 13 inch wheel and 729 belt ( parts for 12 inch wheel fit like cvt cover ).
according to ultrascoot dot com site ( quebec scooter shop ) both 72 and 81cc are fine but 88cc need case boring. according to gy6motor dot com site, only the 72cc is fine , both 81 and 88cc need case boring. according to scootertuning dot ca ( mechanic on the phone ) NONE of them need case boring. according to google, some yes some no. maybe Aliens could tell me ?
looks like there is 4572047539453 version of this engine...
so the skirt ( outer sleeve diameter ) for each kit is: ( according to info on gy6motor ) 88cc = 54.5mm 81cc = 54.5mm 72cc = 49.5mm
cant find any info on what most 139qmb use as stock cylinder sleeve.
i dont care going with the smaller 72cc ( easier to get anyway ) it should make me able to hit 70 km/h easily ( stock engine with naraku racing variator and naraku 18.5mm racing v3 carb is hitting a top speed of 65 km/h ( hit 60 fine almost anywhere but uphill ). so a 72 should be fine for me.

well i disassembled the engine ONLY to check if it fit or if i need to cut the case. ( waiting on oil for break-in , roller weights kit , and exhaust gasket to install it , should be in a week ). result is, NO i do not need to cut anything.
