Short version, where can I buy quality piston rings, preferably in Europe?
Long version:
I installed a 63mm kit to my 125cc gy6 and it works fine. Only "problem" I have, and that's from the beginning, I think I have a little bit too much of backblow. The kit is a cheap $60 one and I believe the rings needed replacement from the beginning. Cruising @ 80km/h is fine but above that the oil coming out from my 3foot ½ inch home made crank breathing hose. The hose is attached to the head as usual but I've changed the 4mm nipple to a 10mm for better breathing. I've done this before with no issues, never needed an oil catcher.
Can not however find any branded rings anywhere, all that pops up on my Google searches is eBay and Ali express among other cheap Chinese sites... That is what I probably already have...
Thankful for any suggestions!

Rings take a while to bed in and seal right. The harder the ring the longer they take. They can also lose tension from being overly hot, usually the piston will show some heat damage also from an overly lean mix. Hopefully you have your mixture set right now.

Two thoughts: Did you contact the seller/manufacturer to see if they would replace the rings? How well did the rings fit the bore, as in, did you check ring end gap AND when you checked, how did the rings feel tension-wise when you put them in to check? Finally(3rd? thought) did the maker include ring installation 'hints'? Rings may or may not be marked to insure proper orientation when installed. If there were no marks or 'hints', then it is a question as to whether they were installed with the rings in the proper groove, and whether they were correct side up or not. So many questions ... so few the answers. I had problems with the above 'stuff' and asked for a bit of instruction, and never got a whisper of a hint. You may have better luck in getting them correctly positioned and getting instructions. I make the assumption you got new: piston, rings, cylinder, and a set of gaskets. Also, the rings were intact after installation. Saying all the above, even without hints, I do not remember having blowby problems. Again, assuming the problem is mixture leakage past the rings into the crankcase/sump, and fuming the rest of the engine & drivetrain with oil and fuel mixed. Of course you checked the oil level with the bike in proper orientation, and with the dipstick not threaded in when checking, right? tom
