Hi all, As you know I have Peugeot Vclic Evp 4t scooter. It was originally has 139QMB 49cc gy6 engine. According to Peugeot 2.89hp I installed 80cc bbk (47mm piston 72cc). I stil dont satisfied with its performance. I want 2 stroke swap either Suzuki Address 100cc 8-9HP or 50cc 6.8hp. I have opportunity to swap Suzuki Address AG50 50cc 2 stroke engine which is stock 6.8hp. Address 50 is already in a working condition scooter but all fairings, instruments very bad and dont worth to repair. en.impex-jp.com/catalogs/moto/suzuki/9900b-50052-021.html I can solve wiring modifications. But dont know how I will adapt engine mpunto etc. It looks that adress 50cc 1E41QMB 2 stroke engine also has mounting points at down like 139QMB also horizontal same as 139qmb. Anyway please let me know your opinions about this swap. Also if there is any 1E41QMB swap to gy6 chinese scooter chassis please share link with me. Cheers Cypriot

I think Suzuki used the Moto Morini engines in their 50cc bikes. There is very little tuning parts available for these. Even when they were new.

If I were swapping a 2T into a 139QMB equipped scoot, I would look at Piaggio 2T engines found in some Piaggio, Vespa and Gilera scoots. They have a bottom mount. I don't think anything is going to be a simple bolt-in, but those are likely to be about as close as anything and it is a good engine platform. The 1E41QMB is not good. Not many parts and it's a chain drive instead of CVT. It should also be a vertical cylinder vs horizontal, which could make fit a challenge. I love 2Ts and I'd rather have the 139QMB than it.

Hello, Thanx for your reply. I might wrote wrong engine code. The 2 stroke engine from Suzuki Address 50 or 100cc which I mentioned has cvt type and has horizontal cylinder. youtu.be/2CfGz0kPxjEThis is the scooter which I mentioned. I think they produced from 1991 to 1997. As I know gilera also have same engine but water cooled. These engine called Franco Morini engines. They are reliable and very powerfull. Cypriot

They may just have the same engine code. It's pretty generic. Sorry, I'm just used to the Chinese version.
That said, if possible I'd still consider the Piaggio Hi-Per 2T. Minarelli and Piaggio are the top 2 platforms for small 2 stroke scooter tuning. They have the greatest support and parts availability and can be built from mild to race with off the shelf parts available from many shops. If you don't care about future mods as much, and don't have trouble sourcing parts, then the one you've found may be great for you.

I know someone who had this engine in a Suzuki katana. He sold it because of the limited tuning options, that was about twelve years ago. I doubt there are more now. That Aprilia forum post is 17 years old.

There are tuning parts for Suzuki bikes...
In Japan. The Suzuki Sepia and Sepia ZZ actually have a lot of cool parts but nearly all of them are out of production and challenging to get.
I would use an AF16 engine. Bottom mount and the gy6 frames are Honda clones, should be pretty easy to swap in.
