I thought that's going to be interesting handling wise. Those zips are pretty frisky at speed anyway. But at least he has made the wheel base 50% longer. These people are on a different level. They answer the question nobody else is asking.

Someone’s got some stones to ride that thing! Wish they’d have cleaned up those tubes on the tail though. All that work to leave open frame.

Someone’s got some stones to ride that thing! It's a badass project, but it may not be as crazy as you'd expect. I've never been on the Piaggio 500, but I've put lots of miles on the TMAX 500. They're disappointingly gentle taking off. My RC-1 powered scoot with 10+HP less is much scarier because it's so abrupt at all times. That said, at no point would you do around 100MPH on a 10" wheel, with what still appears to be a fairly small frame after mods, and feel totally safe... and it should certainly pull very hard once it gets going. I'd love to test ride that thing.

Nice find! Didn't know there was a dyno vid! 500cc/39hp seems a lot for a 10 inch wheeled scoot and ppl seem to think 10 inch wheels make it dangerous at high speeds. When you compare it to the Casa Performance Lambretta it's nothing. 10 inch wheels, 75hp, over 111 mph. Yeah I know it's nothing compared to the 150mph Hawaiian Polini Corsa Honda's but still...

That scoot does pretty much exactly what I've had people on YouTube tell me my RC-One should do. lol I'll just swap the carb from 28mm to 34mm and the MVT for a Selettra and that should make up the 45-50 HP I've been missing vs all of the other RC-Ones they've seen. Nice to know what it would take to meet the internet's expectations of a 30HP scoot. I can only imagine if I ever owned a liter bike. I'd need a land speed racer to meet their expected performance.

Yeah Brent, you should've just listened to the internet! If the internet says it, it's true! You've been doing it wrong the whole time.

That fits in there surprisingly well, as small as the zip was I expected it to look REALLY uneven. I wish they'd done a bit more finish work in there though... Its sad to see a swap that cool with an unfinished tail.
