hello,
i plan on buying a new Honda Ruckus. i have some hills to deal with between home, and where i'll be cruising. i've heard a great upgrade is the Dr. Pulley sliders in 5.5g. from what i understand, this raises the RPM to make more power while accelerating, and for climbing hills.
i'm wondering what this will do RPM wise when cruising on flat ground at moderate throttle/speeds 20-30 MPH.
thanks

You will run at a notch higher rpms throughout the rpm range with lighter weights . Cvt Tuning Takes time and patience to dial it in for best performance for your weight and riding style I would get ahold of some tuning weights and a tach. Because you may find 6 grams work better than 5.5 grams for you. Here is a good over view www.49ccscoot.com/faq/whatweight.html

There is no replacement for displacement. If you have hills go for 150cc or larger.

There is no replacement for displacement. If you have hills go for 150cc or larger. an old adage that still holds true. the plan is to eventually get a KLX230.
for now a scooter that doesn't require a motorcycle license that gets 100+ MPG to get to work. i'll be taking a rider safety course to get my motorcycle license (again)
i wouldn't put a Chinese engine on the Ruckus. i was wondering about a Navi block though?
