Hello guys :-) I have a slightly tuned NRG with: 70cc Top Performance Due+ 21mm Dell Orto Stage6 R1200 Exhaust Jasil Crank V-Force 3 valve And recently installed MVT DD09 ignition. Well, everything went pretty good with installation, scooter starts without problem, but... It revs only to 6k rpms and starts to misfire or it acts like being restricted. Every cable from MVT wiring is connected, ligths are working, but I just cant figure out, where to connect the white wire (from MVT stator)... In diagrams of MVT, it says it should be connected to regulator which is still original, but anyway, do you guys think that it has something to do with misfiring/restricting the rpms at 6k ? Thank you very much for any response

Spark plug cap, do you have a silicone one or just a standard black plastic one? Did you put an extra ground cable between the engine and frame?
The plug itself might be faulty eventough its new.

I have the black plastic one. And yes, you might be right with earthing the motor, cause I had to get rid of starter so i disconnected even its wiring. I will try the silicone spark plug and earth the motor. Thank you!

Earth the coil to the frame.

How mine is wired. I have a DD06 and DD09 wired the same way. www.49ccscoot.com/pics/tritonv22/DD06Diagram.pngThe solid white wire shouldn't make it act up as you describe though. In addition to what Lucass suggested, I'd check and double check the installed timing and maybe put a timing light on it if you can to see where it really is.

So, I tried to play with timing, no effect. Made new ground for motor, no effect. Installed bigger jet (from 98 to 108), no effect either... I will try another spark and figure out, where to plug the solid white wire from ignition rotor... Anyway, I did a short video of its behaviour, so you can get better picture of this problem. youtube.com/shorts/AW1gpg1_qwY?feature=shareThank you guys!

After watching the video it seems like 1 of 2 things Could be the issue. First it could be some sort of limiter on the CDI itself although if you're using AMVTCDI That's not adjustable it should not have a limiter on it the other thing it could be and seems like probably ISIS your exhaust could be completely clogged or possibly the intake judging on the fact that it seems to die out at higher throttle positioning it seems to smoke a lot.
