The exhaust broke off about 1000 miles ago. I drove it that way until about 200 miles ago when it began to shut off after 20 minutes, or if I shut it off it wouldn't restart for almost a day. I have put a new exhaust on and checked the gaps on the spark plug and the valves. It runs a little better, but still having start and run issues. Is there a sensor or something inline that may need cleaned or replaced due to the way I ran it for that 1000 miles? I bought it brand new its only at 2500 all my miles. The retailer i bought this at is useless and I could use some solid Information if anybody has any ideas.

It sort of sounds like something may be getting hot and failing or at least degrading. Have you checked for spark after it dies? That will tell you if an ignition component is malfunctioning once hot. You said it runs better after checking plug gap, new exhaust and valve adjustment... so does that mean it is less likely to shutoff now or is it running subpar anytime it's running warm or cold?

I haven't rechecked the spark plug, and I didn't actually ride it after re gapping the valves and adding a new spark plug, it started on the kickstand and I tried to let it idle but it kept cutting off, so I realized I had toggled the throttle body a while back and reset it, and it would start quick and run longer but still shutoff after a few minutes.
