Hey everyone. I have a 2003 BWS 50 completely stock. I would like to make it a bit quicker without putting a pipe or big bore kit. I have played with the variator but ended up putting it back to stock. I guess my question is can I lean it out just a bit to maybe make it go just a bit faster
Thanks in advance

Stock carb is set for safety . You wont pick anything by leaning it out.
If you want any speed you need to add horsepower a expansion pipe with a upjet wakes these little motors up . You basically can take the stock motor up from 3 horsepower to 4-6 .
You then tune the weights in the variator to jump up in the power band and stiffer springs so you take off with power.

When you say completely stock. You mean stock exhaust with the restriction in, and the restriction in the variator? You could try removing the restriction in the exhaust. On the stock pipes it is not as easy as the aftermarket pipes. But can be done.

Just want to try to lean it out. You see I got a buddy with the exact same scooter just 1 year newer and his is stock as well minus the variator restrictor and no exhaust restrictor. But still fast that me
