I have a SYM Cabo 50cc scooter with 2600 miles on it. Regular oil changes as required. The past couple of times I have ridden it, it seems to bog down on acceleration. I don't have a lot of mechanical knowledge and am not sure if I should just look for a new carb or not. I understand that 20,000 miles is considered high mileage for these, so assume it's not engine related. Any help is appreciated as well as any possible links to a good carb or tools I may need. Thank you

I wouldn't just buy a carb, because it may not even be carb related. It could be, but it could also be a clutch or CVT issue. Are there any other symptoms? Maybe noises... like sputtering or do you hear kind of a "waaa" sound as it bogs or is it just low RPM? Is it only from a stop or is it pretty much any time you try to use the throttle quickly? Does it run well once it gets going?

Seems to run well once it gets up to speed, the bogging seems to be when I accelerate at first. If I slowly turn the throttle it doesn't do it as bad.

No noises either, just seems to not get the power I'm accustomed to. It's frustrating because it my only form of transportation
