I have a molassi cast and wild lion pipe and it does 51 or 52 mph. Since I ride daily 13 miles of hwy I'm thinking of going to mhr replica. I just bought a naruku 17. 5 carb so I would buy a yuzani r.Do the temps get higher with the mhr?I have a straight run of 13 miles so I think the mhr and pipe is a better choice.Like to hear some pros and cons.I usually do around 40 mph and temps around 268 f.

So you're currently doing 13 miles of highway at around 40MPH? Or are you saying you max it out on the highway and otherwise you usually roll around 40MPH?
When I think highway I think 55MPH and over. Not to get off topic of tuning two-strokes, but IMO your experience would be much better with a larger scooter. My current build will go 80MPH+, but that doesn't make it safe on the highway. I've been on the highway more than I should with 49cc based stuff, but safe and comfortable are 2 things that I'd never use to describe it. Something like a 250, or now even the modern ~150cc stuff (not the old air cooled GY6), should make your highway commute much more pleasant. I would at least look into the idea of a motorcycle endorsement (assuming you don't already have one) and a larger scoot for this.
Back to your question; as long as the carb tune is good, the temperature will be fine. The pro should be more top end power and speed with the con of more stress on everything. I think the latter would be somewhat minor with the Rep and Z. I also find aluminum cylinders to be less forgiving of lean conditions, so be sure to keep it on the rich side everywhere.

I also find aluminum cylinders to be less forgiving of lean conditions, so be sure to keep it on the rich side everywhere. If an alu cylinder would seize on his commute, a cast iron one will too. And it will happen violently because he's at speed. Just make sure you have it tuned right, or let someone else help you with it. I see this alu cast iron comparison coming up from time to time and I just don't agree. It only applies to very very short rides up and down the street. If an alu cylinder seizes, a cast iron cylinder will do so too. And more often only just moments later. It's not if, it's when and it will happen.

That yasuni will get you some more top speed for sure. You could also put a thick variator shim behind the variator boss. Therefore the belt wont be able to ride all the way down low in the variator but rather high up. It will give more speed.
