Sucks man! So you got the insurance info and accident report right? Dumbass prolly thought he had enough space on you to make his turn..... Well, he might have UNTIL he slowed to turn as you maintained your speed with no idea as to what he was doing. Glad your ok.... And he was all at fault on that one

You're gonna be worse off/ sore tomorrow. Please, rest up and take care of yourself. cause you're gonna be "stiff" in a bad way tomorrow. Let us know how your doing tomorrow.

Relieved you are able to post this. I've lost two friends this year to motorcycle crashes, both were seasoned, level-headed riders who were the victims of reckless drivers.
*hugs* Crashing sucks. Hope for a speedy recovery and swift justice. Let us know if there's any way we can help.

12-31-2011 RALEIGH, N.C. — A Chapel Hill man riding a motorcycle hit the back of a moving car and died late Friday on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh.
Police charged the driver of the car, Carolyn McCormick, 37, with a safe movement violation and misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
Samuel Zachary Johnson, 24, of 220-C5 Elizabeth St. in Chapel Hill, was westbound on Glenwood Avenue at Ebenezer Church Road when McCormick pulled out in front of him just before 11 p.m., police said.
The intersection was closed for about four hours as police investigated. An official report on the wreck is pending, police said. ~~~~~~~~~~
Im glad to see the car get charges for once.

I get it, but those two things sound really inappropriate together.

Yes I agree too. I dont know about other states but in NC a traffic accident like the above is a felony only if the defendant is drunk driving. However, it carries the stiffest penalty for any class 1A misd. in NC but that only was changed recently. Its not stiff enough to get people to be more careful IMO. (60 days jail). At least she didnt walk away with just an unsafe movement ticket.
