how did you fix the issue ive been trying to find what 100% is the issue, thinking about replacing the fuel pump For me I was able to determine that the ground going to the pump wasn't making a proper connection. Since I had already purchased a replacement pump I was able to run the voltage meter with it connected without having to remove the installed one. From there I tested it by swapping the ground from the fuel level sensor and confirming the pump worked. Two options you have, if it is the ground cable, would be to trace that wire and try to find the break. The other option, which is less advisable, would be to use a wire to bridge from the fuel level sensor ground to the pump ground. I imagine though that there's a reason those are separated.
