Here is the crank check video. I was working in low light with a headlamp so light is wonky but you can see it.

You will get massive vibration with that. It will kill the seals and bearings. Such a shame.

OK, I think I am going to wrap a tie-down strap around the tip and point the high spot towards the front wheel and give it a tug towards the back wheel, see what happens. Its all chit at this point anyways... If I can get it straight Im going to ride it. There is a garaged stored vino with low miles here for 650 that is super clean. I am trying to contact them now but not replying.
You can ride quads and dirt bikes on the road here without any licenses. I have been keeping my eye open for a cr500 dirt bike. I'll put crossover tires on it and rip around. I can ride my quad to the grocery store but it wears the tires down and they cost $$$

Well, since I have to put everything into it now. Can you recommend parts to use? Can I run a corsa cylinder, piston and head? Ive read that gives 12hp gain. If I am doing everything I want fast and more HP. But within reason. I dont want to spend 2k, closer to 1k or less if possible. No junk parts.

If you are considering the Polini corsa. I would also look at the stage 6 sport pro, or Malossi MHR replica cylinder. All similar performance. My favourite setup is the stage 6 street race paired with a Yasuni R. It would give you a substantial power increase. But he very tractable on the street.

I had that combo on a Zuma & it was a very good setup. Still very reliable but ran very strong.

I can only imagine how fast the vespa 350 GTS is. I bet it runs good. I didnt get that one that was up for sale for 1500. He had over a hundred buyers in line.
