I believe I can get my hands on an 08 Zuma pulley. That should have straight grooves, right? Any problems swapping those or is it a direct replacement?

You need the whole rear 2008 pulley both sides that touch the belt It has straight grooves I used the 2008 pulley on my 2003 zuma

Did it give you decent results? I know there's something different between the prebug and your 03 in the torque driver. Exactly what, I'm not sure. Hopefully it will be a bolt on deal.

Ok. Just put on the 2008 Zuma pulley. Everything seemed to be a direct swap over. Much more linear rpm's. Overall pretty happy with it. Certainly the cheapest route to go! As always, thanks for the advice and tips!
