Those are my pics and tricks on the vari but never the less thanks for putting them in the tech section as thats what Brent is all about and im glad he keeps it all together for us. I used to contribute more back when the stuff was new to me. He is WAY more detailed than i tho.
Yes those weights will fit. And will probably give you great top end, possibly even throwing the belt off the top of the vari. BUT, you would loose all kinds of low end as the extra 2mm of roller would start you off in "2nd to 3rd gear".
