Those magnet thingies are great to have around. Fished out more than one dropped nut or bolt from an unreachable spot. Does the JB weld hold up in the oil that way?

So far mine has worked fine on my 150s plug. I just found a suitable size magnet off the refrigerator and used that.

Here's the specs on JB weld.
Properties (psi) Tensile Strength: 3960 Adhesion: 1800 Flex Strength: 7320 Tensile Lap Shear: 1040 Shrinkage: 0.0% Resistant to: 500° F Mechanics -- you can use J-B WELD with confidence. It is designed for safe, reliable, permanent repairs in engine compartments and heated environments up to 500° F. It's strong as steel and impervious to water, gasoline, chemicals, and acids. Working with J-B WELD is quick, easy, and convenient -- and saves you time, work, and money!
I think my magnet will be ok in 200 degree F. oil.

Thanks, and your welcome, hope Krystal didn't scare ya Another thing I just thought of, for that rear wheel you mentioned, you'll remove the exhaust, watch for the exhaust gasket, easy to missplace. Small metalish ring that sits right where the pipe bolts in.

ok well update, we got back, i think i did the alignment correct, not sure, but aligned the flywheel and not sure if i did the cam shaft now that i think of it, would that being out of timing cause it not to start? will not start at all electric or kick, then after trying to jump start it, the electric start will not work at all now, checked every wire possible on the thing, fixed bad ones, checked grounds, checked plug and gapped it, tested compression, checked for spark. everything is checking out so far, any thing im missing? can a remote start cause this?

Absolutely, cam has to be lined up correctly. Also do the valves while your in there, the cam and T mark allignment is the same for instalation and setting the valves. Very important for how the engine functions. Double check that before trying to start it again.
Was the vehicle off when you jump started? (it should be off) What happens when you use the electric start button? The engine was at least turning over until you tried to jumpstart it then it did nothing after?

if mechanical timing is too far off the piston can hit the valve and bend it so you might have damage now too.
