Clutch Removal/Disassembly
My method uses a vice and an oil filter wrench, pretty simple. I do realise not everyone has a vice, but I paid less than half of what the specialty tool costs and a vice has tons of uses. You could also use a strap wrench instead of an oil filter wrench.
I should also mention, this is a well used clutch, clutch nut, etc... just as in the video they made. I only mention this because they did. I could do this with new or used parts, it really doesn't matter unless there is some type of extreme damage maybe. I've done this many times with different springs etc...
There are other methods of doing this, some involving different specialty tools. This is just the way I like to do it, so I thought I'd make a quick video that may help someone. Please forgive the video I'm not much of a narrator or camera personality, but it works.
There you go. If that looks too hard, look for other methods or start spending your money on specialty tools.
