if you dont constantly beat on it and as long as you keep oil in it ..it should last for 5000+ miles. these things hold 750ml of oil thats less than a quart. it should be checked every day before you ride. installing magnetic drain plugs helps longevity because they dont have oil filters.. enviromoto.ecrater.com/p/9784746/magnetic-oil-drain-bolt-kit

lol do you think running a car on the edge of redline all the time would blow it up sooner than driving it normal?

you are asking an impossible question really....nobody has a crystal ball and can tell you how long a machine is going to last.

yeah haha i knew that was comming the way im looking at it, the problems i have are auctually helping me in a way, im learning how to fix these mean machines, so in the future they will get easier, and easier to fix and ill know what tools ill need to have laying around, i also need to invest in one of those tool kits i can just throw in my dash storage (ill be using my trunk storage for a 12 inch subwoofer)

My 80cc lasted almost exactly 2,000 miles and that was with a fresh crank installed with the kit. I rode WOT, but with a cam and porting and the way the CVT was tuned I saw more revs than you will with that limiter. There are stories like mine and then there are people with lots of miles. The highest mileage scoots I ever hear of always tend to be stock though. There's usually some sort of sacrifice involved in mods.

I've been through 2 cranks in my 50mm top end 139qmb. Both lasted roughly 1000 miles. And trust me, I ride harder than anyone on this forum. So if you keep WOT, it's going to fail. Build quality also determines the life of a scoot.

5,000 miles?! According to my the odometer(Peace Motorsports 804, I already know not fully accurate), I'm already at 4,300, and I've only had it for 6 months. Am I really going to have to but another scooter (or motor) in a month?

come on man, you seem to want someone to tell you exactly when its gonna die....who can do that?
IN MY OPINION if you make 10,000 MILES you are doing good. Most chinese scooter odometers read in KM not MI so 4300km=2600mi anyway.

yeah even with the big brands like yamaha on the zuma 50 we have seen guys only get 5000 miles before needing piston and rings yet others have gotten 10,000 to 20,000 with 1 guy reporting over 30,000 on the orginal top end it all depends upon how you pdi how you ride and how you maintain it
