oh yeah and another thing i want to do a compression test. i have a tester but the hose is to big for the tiny threads of the plug on the scoot. Do they sell and adapter to fit it? i work in auto parts but don't recall we sell one. might have to go to a small engine supply or somewhere online. what's a normal factory stock PSI on these 63cc's?

10mm adapter for the compression gauge
you want somewhere in the 170psi area

that's awesome thanks for the info i'll go in and check when i get the plug see if we have a 10mm adapter. i'll keep you guys posted.

Alright i changed my plug i'm going to watch that and see. i opened both carbs the keihin cvk, and the factory sealed carb. (destroyed the bowl plate in the process) what i found was quite the opposite. in the fact how the jets were numbered in the factory carb the jets were 78 main and 30 idle. also i'm including a pic of the plug i took out. guess i can only load one pic at a time... only the top part of that is the main jet not the whole thing. |
