Start rich on the jetting. Are you using a good carb? Ide be afraid a stock or small carb might have a lean swing and hurt the top-end. What pipe? You will need to "loosen" the cvt up with lighter weights and or tighter springs im sure. That kit will want to rev Congrats man Wish you were L/C tho . Coulda bought my kit

You need a good pipe (I'd recommend a C16), carb of at least 21mm and a good crank to stop things going bang.

I cant upgrade the crank yet or the pipe but i do have tecnigs rs or next r cant remember off hand and i am hoping to keep the rpm down with the pipe until i can upgrade crank? that is possible right

I wouldn't even contemplate it on a Mina based engine, that was with a Piaggio which have stronger cranks.

I don't know a lot about the high end parts, but that pic would be enough to keep me from installing it on a stock crank. With anything much beyond a sport kit people suggest an aftermarket crank for the 1E40QMBs.

The total cost of that failure was around £400, £150 for a new cylinder, £80 on new cases, £120 for a new crank and £20 for new main bearings.
It's a very expensive mistake to make.

Where can I get a forged 47.6 mm kit ? Anyone tried this crank www.mhr-usa.com/racing-crankshafts/std-12mm/ I have seen ads for others but this one says its forged ( which I only want a forged crack ) has needle bearings instead of ball type and rated for 18,000 rpms . Yes 18,000 rpms wow which is more than beyond what a 72cc BBK would get up to , well a street legal one . www.wiseco.com is about the only forged billet pistons I can find but average costs 130 ans made in the USA which is a plus too . I used then when I raced amateur MX and they hold up to severe abuse
